Safety Conditions In An Employment Contract

We expect you to fully co-operate with us in our efforts to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
There is a duty on you to:
- Take proper care for your own safety while at work;
- Always wear the personal protective equipment provided;
- Work in a safe manner;
- Adhere to the various safety instructions set out in our Safety Statement and in the Safety Handbook;
- Abide by instructions given by the Company’s Safety Personnel;
- Tell us about any defective tools, plant or equipment;
- Report accidents, ‘near misses’, dangerous work practices etc.
- Assist us fully in investigating accidents, mishaps etc.
- Not to interfere with safety devices.
This list is not exhaustive.
People who ignore the Company’s health and safety policies are a danger to both themselves and their fellow employees. Their careless behaviour could result in a serious incident – perhaps causing someone to be badly hurt or killed.
For that reason, anyone who breaks the Company’s safety rules will be disciplined
